Cooley: "Romo is a jerk."

C'mon dude, at some point the extreme homerism has to stop.

The fact that Witten DOESN'T wear "short shorts" is proof enough he's tougher then Cooley. Nevermind that he's played with a broken jaw twice.

And the "Better" part? Seriously, at some point the homerism just becomes plain stupidity.

You are a joke, cooley is having decent year only in terms of TD catches, other numbers aren't very impressive and couldn't carry Witten's jock.

I suppose you believe Campbell is better than Romo as well, right?

LOL, i didnt know that, thanks for sharing. I'll be watching now, looking for him to try and motion to greg to throw the flag.

There was a noteworthy incident in the Green Bay game when Portis fumbled and he went to Williams to lobby for him to throw the flag, and Williams told him to "talk to the hand."

In that same game, Moss also fumbled and Woodson ran it back for 6 and Gibbs wanted to challenge but Williams waved him off as well.

Here's the thread on it over at ExtremeSkins:

Cooley is very tough. He always fights for extra yards and his second efforts have given us lots of first downs that would've otherwise been short. Though I don't think I've seen him stay up after a defender ripped his helmet off. Cowboy hatred aside that play was awesome.

And no thinking Cooley is better is not pure homerism and stupidity. Witten is the better TE, he runs more consistent routes and is a much better pass blocker. Chris was our H-Back for the first two seasons and had alot of work in the running game lead blocking. I don't know enough about Witten in the running game to make a comparison there.

I never said Cooley wasn't tough, he's just not as tough as Witten. Nor is he as good as Witten. He IS good, just not THAT good.

And as far as Witten's run blocking, of all the Upper Tier TEs in the NFL, he's the best blocker of them all. Gates, Gonzo, Winslow, etc.. are all exceptional recievers, but they can't hold Witten's jock when it comes to blocking. And Witten is up there with them as a reciever.

IMO Witten is the best all-around TE in the NFL.

I was going to circle a certain area but I thought it might be inappropriate.

Who was the one who said nip & tuck?

By the way Dallas has two tight ends better than Cooley in Witten and Fasano and a reserve named Tony Curtis that may be his equal.:D

I didn't know Cooley was a fan of Wham.........

"Wake me up before we go-go"...............

that may have been the 1st interview ever where a player told the media about a discussion he had w/ his wife/fiance

Cooley is a *****

I seem to recollect Jason Garrett confessing it was his darling bride that told him just to chuck it high and deep to Alvin Harper a couple of days prior to the 1994 Thanksgiving game against Green Bay.

As for Cooley, yes he is the true jerk, one that is becoming a less talented Jeremy Shockey.

The NFC East is hands down the best overall division for tight ends but notice how the productivity seems to correspond with the class of the individual, observe their rankings:

Jason Witten, Dallas Cowboys
LJ Smith, Philadelphia Eagles
Jeremy Shockey, New York Giants
Chris Cooley, Washington Commanders

I do not know which is crazier .....

That you think Romo is fat
That Gibbs lost to the Pats on purpose
or that Cooley is tougher and better than the man in my sig.

You truly represent why people laugh at the Commander fans.

what's scary is that the Commanders actually have those shorts in case a player wants to wear them...unless he stole that from a Commander's cheerleader....
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
