Cooper is above and beyond

His numbers are basically like Dez Bryant in his last 4 games in 2016 and we know where that headed with Dak.

Commanders are 24th in passing yardage though they are 10th or 11th in passing on scores. Cooper scores on RAC on blown coverages, while Dak couldn’t put the ball in the end zone passing in the red zone. The CB fell on one route and that was set up by a perfect play call by Linehan. The other was a once in a lifetime throw down the middle by Dak that was in between three guys and they all then blew the tackle. That’s really not sustainable, just like it wasn’t even close to sustainable with Mike Austin despite him having a much better QB.

Teams don’t need to roll over coverage to Cooper, because the LBs are basically the guys doubling Beasley. They are playing cover 1 a lot.

Yawwwwwn

He’s made a big difference for sure but the next two games will be telling to see if we can actually keep a winning streak going

When you have a player that can beat the coverage and get the YAC. Oddly enough Dak seemed to find and had no problem making throws to him. There is going to be a chemistry between them that Dak never had with Dez.

His routes getting him huge separation is sustainable. He is breaking ankles out there. The 90 yarder into triple coverage was lucky and that isn't sustainable, but converting lots of 3rd downs with easy passes Dak can handle is definitely sustainable.

His ‘finding’ him on the first TD was a beautiful call by Linehan where that was the go-to from the very beginning.

He’s not ‘finding’ him.

Again, for the millionth time, him avoiding the whole middle of the field is not because he’s not finding guys. That’s all of 2016 and his passing charts on a per game basis still are a microcosm of this.

Yikes.
This is a really really really bad post

It is sustainable with a Good QB, but he did that against press coverage on play action on which the whole defense was keying in on Zeke. The only reason defenses are playing that much is because of Dak’s arm. It’s basicslly cover 1 press coverage with 8 men in the box against this guy.

If Dak can do it regularly, they will start shifting coverages. But they aren’t. And no defense is going to continue to give these type of looks when the QB can actually throw well.
