If I am reading it right, Rush is a free agent after this season. Let’s suppose Rush starts two more games and wins one of the two. That would put Rush at 4 and 1 as a starter this year and 5 and 1 as a starter for his career.

What do you think Rush’s market value would be? Doubtful any team sees him as a starter (but the comp pick would be fantastic if some team signed him to starter money).

Rush has definitely increased his career stock by stringing a few wins together. Any thoughts on this one?

Not so sure about that....he is already better than starters Geno Smith, Justin Fields, Tayson Hill, Baker Mayfield just off the top of my head. Even Jones at NY if they decide to move away from him and not worth the $35m plus. He certainly has turned some heads. $20-25m or so per year would be a steal for these teams. And out of Jerry's league for a backup.

What's the highest paid backup in the league?

That is his ceiling. He is not getting starter money anywhere. Geno has had a good year. Baker is done and so is Darnold, Justin Fields has a couple more years. Everybody sees his limitations and they are not paying him $$$ to be a starter. Teams would rather draft a project!

Sign him fair money to be a backup and get the next franchise quarterback that has a combination of physicality and brains…..the problem is that if one looks at the 10-32 top staring quarterbacks, Rush may fit in that group and go somewhere to be a starter…

…..is he that much worse than Sam Darnold?……that slug started for 2 different teams for God sakes.

Cooper is very smart and efficient....I'm not convinced he has the arm strength to be a starter or command the salary that goes with it. Just my opinion.

Geno Smith, no way in Hell.
