Not true ...... Cowboys had a hand shake deal with Cooper and he is a vested veteran, so he can choose who he signs with.

He can, but doesn't mean if other teams had thought he was the greatest backup ever that they couldn't have thrown money at him, or that Dallas would have even risked that happening. The Cowboys thought it was a safe move, and had good reason to believe that. We just don't need to make it out that our team was somehow smarter than the Giants for seeing something in Rush. We only brought him back essentially (on the practice squad) because Prescott got hurt and we weren't comfortable with the backup situation behind Dalton.
