Cooper Rush is 5-0

Crazy how much better our offensive line has looked with Rush. Sacks, pressures and Holding penalties are down, probably because the ball gets out quicker with a qb that can make a decision and doesn't panic.
Panic is the thing. Of course a linemen is gonna hold if he’s engaged with blocking and then all of the sudden the defender starts to peel away and chase the qb. It’s instincts.

Romo used to do this but sometimes my favorite Play was when hed get swallowed up in the middle of the pocket and just eat the sack kind of fall forward and turn it into just like a 4 yard loss.

No dumb surprises on offense and eventually your plays will generate points

I'm sorry but there is something mentally wrong with some folks around here. Rush put up 76 yards passing that is it, I love he has come in and played relatively error free ball but if Dak up up 76 yards passing you guys would be all over him. Fact is only thing holding the offense back in Rush.

Dak Prescott is 1-3 in the playoffs and 6-6 his last 12 games....your point?

Make sure you stop at the 12th game when you cherry pick, comparing the entire season would obviously not help your argument.

Coop went 10-16 106 yards and our only TD was Pollard 57 yard run.

Your point of Dak's record is worthless so enjoy it.

we didn’t need to throw the football a lot.

smart football.

Its really not hard to see, my god we had 31 passing yards in the first half...NFL not pee wee.

I have to ask myself this question. If we switch Romo in place of Dakota, wouldn’t they put Romo in a huge game like this. As much as I’ve been critical of Dakota, he’s the current franchise Qb and MM and Jerry will play him asap.

however…..every time I think Rush is going to give away the game and lose it for us, he just keeps on winning.

this FO better make the right decision. The expected choice is to go back to Rayne

I mean you're not wrong, we should not be looking at Cooper Rush as anything more than a bus driver QB. He is not the future, hes not a long term high end starting QB in this league. He is a solid fringe starter/high end backup. With that said though you we can continue to knock the people pushing for Rush to keep the job or we can acknowledge that it's been poor play back Dak that has created this conversation to begin wtih. In his last two games Dak has put up the following lines:

121 yards on 14/29 attempts and 1 int - loss
204 yards on 23/43 attempts and 1 int - loss

So Rush has a game of 76 yards on 10/16 and 0 ints, but gets the win I think it is more than understandable why some fans feel more confident with him as QB right now. I don't believe for a second that Rush will lead us to victories in shootouts, but how many shoot-out type of games is this team really going to be a part of this year? Dak has a much higher ceiling than Rush, but the question of if the Cooper Rush style is a better fit that plays to the makeup of the 2022 Cowboys is a fair question.

I think the bigger questions are can Dak adopt some of that Rush style of play? Is it realistic for Rush to continue to not turn the ball over? I'm not sure the answer to the Rush v Dak debates, but I think to completely ignor the other side of the argument is silly. Rush is one loss away from the debate pretty much going away, but if these Cowboys knock off an undefeated Eagles team next Sunday I'm not sure this debate doesn't intensify 10 fold.

I think there are things that Dallas is doing that needs to continue once Dak is back in the lineup. Simply put you want your best players on the field when they are healthy, Dak is a much better QB than Rush.

Rush dropped back only 16 times and got sacked 3 times. Never mind all the pressures. They are much better though huh lol?
Yeah, they have been much better. 1 sack was a blown assignment from Pollard and the other 2 were AD vs our rookie LT, who at least once was left 1:1 with him. The 3 weeks prior to yesterday they'd given up 1 sack, but go ahead and lol. You know the line looks a lot better with Rush than Dak, you'll just never admit it.

Those two blindside hits on Coop in the game were scary. I felt like I was watching those hits in slow motion. I’m glad he survived.

It does look better but you saying it after they had their worst performance is what’s funny lol.

:lmao: You don't have a rebuttal for the point I made so that's all you have? :lmao:
I typically don’t spend too much time on idiots to ask Risen or the rest of your ilk. If you walk on your knuckles and breathe out of your mouth I can’t spend too much time on you.
