Cooper Rush, it is the way.

I'm glad to see a lot of people with positive things to say about Coop. When I posted about him here previously, it's been quite some time, there was absolutely zero love for Cooper and I was run off the forums.

As a friend of Cooper Rush, I can say he is humbled and appreciates the support of Cowboy Nation more than anything else right now.

He's working hard for his teammates and each and every fan.

What the Dak fans fail to see is Rush only gets to play with and against the scrubs in pre season games. How can anyone say he is far worse than Dak? You can't, but I won't say he is a huge upgrade over Dak either. He needs a lot more that just a 2 game sample to make any assumptions. Personally, I hope Coach Jerry doesn't rush Dak back onto the field, but only Jerry has control over that.

We know what we have with Dak, but we don't know squat about Rush. He's started 2 games. Just 2. But I get it, you are so in love with Dak that no one else deserves a chance to prove his worth.

Keep in mind,

Whirlwin here has said plenty of times that Dak is the 2nd best QB in the NFL behind only Russell Wilson and the only reason Wilson is better is because he throws a slightly better deep ball.

I really don't care who the starting QB is as long as we are winning. Dak has some flaws, as does Rush. Neither are stars, but we can win with either one, if the game plan is sound and they stick to it. We ain't gonna go deep in the playoffs with either slinging it all over the place.

Rush isn't top 5 as a backup, prolly not top 10.
