Would you be comfy with rolling with Rush if Dak was to go down with an injury? I would.

From what I've seen in the pre-season last year, he looked poised and had a nice touch plus read the defense quite well. What a waste by JG not letting him play in Philly last year so we could have seen him in a real game. One of the reasons JG is a terrible coach.

Watching any player against backups and guys who won’t make an NFL roster is very misleading. It’s why when fans watch college film highlights and declare someone a “beast” based on highlights against Eastern Delaware State, is not always a realistic indication of NFL success.

Cooper Rush is a career backup. And it may be a short career at that,

He is looking good but unfortunately if he were to outplay Dak he still wont get a chance. If Dak led this team to a 4-4 record and then suffered a season ending injury and Rush came in and led them to 8 straight wins and to the NFC championship game the Cowboys would be still saying Dak is the QB!

Yeah, because that's how it worked with Romo when he got injured and Dak led the team to the playoffs.

I agree both have weak arms [not strong arms]. I like the passes Rush throws. They appear to have some touch on them. It seems like Dak tries to strong arm his throws, with a weak arm.

For both of them it comes down to executing the kinds of throws they are capable of, and on deep balls getting the ball in the air a little earlier than a QB who has a cannon. That takes a slightly quicker read, but it's certainly doable. There have been some successful QBs who didn't have a big arm.

I'm claiming that Rush is a more ACCURATE QB than Dak is which by the way isn't major considering how poor Dak's accuracy is....Just ask David Carr.....

Will be interesting to see if he has another stellar preseason... if he does dak better not have to many rough games during the season

better in the touch department. I haven't seen him try to strong arm any throws. In preseason games he looks accurate, but in real games it has yet to be seen. Last game last year would have been a good indication of his success or failure. But again he would have been play against 2nd stringers and 3rd stringers like Dak was.

There have never been any successful QB's w/ lollipop arm strength.

How has he been in camp? I don’t live in the area and I have seen a few clips of him throwing some passes with great touch. Anxious to see his development from year one to year two
