Cooper will open a lot of eyes

he will get open a lot and make it as clear as day that dak isn’t a franchise qb. He’ll also prevent us from wasting 100 plus million on dak.

I could see this happening.

Dak is running out of people to cut and excuses.

I'm gonna laugh when this entire offense starts steam rolling people and Dak's putting up good numbers and you have to eat crow.
I think Cooper's gonna open up a lot of stuff for everyone on the offense.

That will be a big part of his value, IF it happens. This team is set up for the run, if Cooper can just pull some coverage off of Beasley and pull a safety off the line to help Zeke the team should perk up quite a bit...

And if daks still scared to pull the triggers
? What about if every pass gets batted in the air because of daks placement? Will you come back and say you were wrong?

All I said was that IF Cooper opens up the offense it will help Beasley and Zeke and open up the offense. The post I replied to had nothing to do with Dak being "afraid" or "getting passes batted down"

There are other posts where you can run down Dak, your comment belongs there.

And if you read some of my earlier posts on Cooper you will see I have consistently said I don't expect Cooper to make this a top notch offense. So you're barking up the wrong tree...

I respect opinions, so I won’t take a shot st you for this.!what I’m going to say is, I created this post, so I can run down dak if I choose. It’s my topic. Thanks for your opinion though.

We have to go all in on Tua when the time comes.

Have to?

Really? So what do the Cowboys do until the 2021 draft? (Assuming Tua stays 4 years at Alabama). What if he develops chronic knee problems or his performance falls off before then?

Tua is surrounded by massive amounts of talent, what happened with previous Alabama quarterbacks Croyle, Wilson, McElroy, Sims and McCarron? Most of those set records at Alabama and/or won SEC or national championships. NONE of them have been top NFL quarterbacks.

Waaaayyyy too early to make ANY quarterback decisions....

Got my attention. A first round pick? Still trying to process that.
24 and better than Any WR in draft....Dallas was gonna draft a WR ... Cooper was a better option only 24 same age as Ridley who was a rookie this year

Why does the next WR need to a first day pick in the draft?

Because you want production obviously..Top WRs usually go in the 1st....sure u can get lucky..But if WR is a top priority you draft early.....

5 out of the top 10 WRs today are not 1st round picks.

Cool....Cooper TD ...
I must say, Cooper was the best player on the field for the Cowboys last night. That being said, it was really dumb to waste a 1st on a WR when the QB and so many other issues exist on the roster.

Had we not “ wasted” a 1st on him, dak would have another excuse. He doesn’t have a no. 1 receiver. You can’t judge him without a no . 1. At least now we know. He has a number 1. He has a top 3 slot receiver. He has the best runner in the league. What more does he need to play well? He threw ez under the bus at the press conference.” I guess I need to put right I. His hand”. Someone should call him out. Maybe the receiver needs to take a hand off and break 11 tackles I guess.

I don't think it was necessary to bring in an expensive weapon to see Dak doesn't have it. Perhaps the Cowboys FO needed the move to see it, but that just shows how inept they are and leads me to believe Dak and Garrett will back next year.

If they can get a decent QB in to start next season, than the investment in Cooper may be worth it. This season is done. The Cowboys offense is abysmal from scheme to coaching to personnel.

Cooper was impressive.
