Not really. I just don't get all giddy because some dimwit got a blue uniform and badge. I also don't think most of them do their job to protect and serve. I think more than less are in it for the money and the power trip it gives them. The idiot in this video obviously was in it for the power trip. Not only did he sucker punch the guy, he also wrote up a false report claiming the guy hit him. And, those are SERIOUS charges. They officer should be fired, sued and then jailed for trying to maliciously ruin that guys life. I don't care if he was having a bad day. I don't care if the guy pointed his stinky finger in his face.

As the old saying goes, who will police the police?

If we don't, no one will because generally the public doesn't care when stuff like this happens.

The bottom line is: Cops deal with *******s...it's in their job description. What this cop did was wrong/illegal, and there is NO WAY to defend his action based on that video. It doesn't matter what the guy said to the cop, either.

This happens a lot. Mostly they know when the cameras are running and when they are not.
