:lmao2:

i don't know whats wrong with our fans.

it wasn't like this at Texas Stadium.

I thought the crowd was pretty loud for the Giant's game, but some of our other games it does get kinda quiet at times.

I think the HD Jumbotron might have something to do with it, at times it is like you are watching a movie at a theater and as a result most people are quit while they watch just like at the cinema.

Bottom line..........the stadium was not designed for home field advantage.

yep jerry soldout when he built that thing.

funny thing is the reason i joined this site and the trueblue forums was to see pictures and updates from the stadium construction.

i can't remember if it was this site or the other, but there was an engineer with the construction company who would update us with pics and answer our questions. i remember many posters including myself asking him if the acoustics of the stadium were an important factor when designing the place to make it a more intimidating atmosphere than texas stadium. he assured us it was a key factor and a very important issue for jerry.

i guess he lied.

I think the place is just too big for the sound to reverberate back down onto the field. The sound just disapates into all the openness of the stadium and doesnt really cause the visiting any problems at all.

In fact, it seems that in most home games we actually have more false starts than the visiting team...........kinda amazing.

IDK about the size, but the amount of seats that simply price out average fans from attending sure does not help.

It has NOTHING to do with the stadium and EVERYTHING to do with the fans. It was EXACTLY the same at Texas stadium. I wonder if some of you have been to a game before.

The price of the tickets and parking etc etc Texas Stadium is a place to be seen not a place for die hard fans.

All I know is I have been to several games at FedEx and we literally stood for every play, lots of cowboys fans making lots of noise. I went to the FIRST game ever at Cowboys Stadium vs the Giants and there were people getting mad at people that would stand to cheer. People all dressed up, texting on their phones and conversing with each other, taking pictures of the screen, more like a theater atmosphere rather than an atmosphere where the fan screams like hell to try to give the team any little edge possible. The problem is the Cowboys are so "popular" that it becomes more of a tourist attraction or a "see and be seen" rather than a "let's tailgate and yell and scream while our team beats the snot out of the opponents"...

There's truth to this and the irony is that these same people get mad when the Cowboys don't win, but they don't do their part to be that twelth man.

On the other hand, the Cowboys of the 70s and 90s kicked *** regardless of the docile fans. We need better players. I hope we make a run into the playoffs anyway, horrible defense and all.

:hammer:

I can't really blame the fans for not being too loud the other night. They were in shock at the mess they were watching. Weren't we all?

I went to the Lions game there this year, got end zone tickets, row 12 for $75.

I went to the Cardinals game here in Phoenix, on the 3 yard line, row 16 for $150.

Price of a ticket to the Cowboys games aren't as bad as some people think...

Cowboys fans outside of Texas get extremely loud.. it's just the ones who live here who are docile.

The majority of people I have seen get loud at games tend to have drank a lot of alcohol just saying

I just don't buy that we aren't loud because the ticket prices are to high.

Rediculous.

Not every seat in the stadium has a person making 100+k/yr.

I was at the Commanders' and Giants' games, and thought the Giant game was considerably quieter. I thought the crowd actually sounded great against Washington. There was a lot of hand sitting against New York.
