He does look aggressive and that is hard not to like. Def looks like the guy who has the upper hand in replacing Moore.

It's very likely Carr will be a June 1st cut. Even if we manage to get one of the top corners, do we really expect him to start? And what about Claiborne? Are we really counting on him to do anything this year?

I was thinking Moores replacement...because the style is similar. Moore was aggressive and had a lot of tackles for loss on running plays - this guy has played some safety and i think he was the slot corner for saints. When they brought him here they were still trying to get carr to stay at a reduced rate. So i think he could be an adequate replacement for Moore.

If Carr leaves which is likely - then they will have to find a replacement for carr but i think Corey white will be the slot guy.

Im looking at it like the loss of moore is replaced by white and still need to find someone to play Carrs spot.

Based on the majority of comments made on this board last year - Carr's play was not very good - so maybe not so hard to replace that.

I'm not saying he's starting material at either FS or CB, but I see a guy with good aggression, is physical, and most importantly has made plays on the ball. Specifically, covering Cole Beasley in the slot. I know this is a small sample size, but I would be hard pressed to put together the same film for Claiborne, and maybe even Carr. In McClay I trust...

He is walking, begging, grandstanding job resume whose sole purpose is to overshadow his head coach and scream from the mountaintops that he wants a head coaching job like Bubba.

Ryan's defenses were abysmal late in game thanks to his poorly devised blitz schemes and illogical gambling at inopportune times. His defense is fundamentally flawed and lacks the depth of his brother's. That's why he's been so un-clutch everywhere he's been.

He lacks personal discipline, proven by his constant lateness to meetings, including those he called himself, and his obvious compulsion to eat and drink anything that doesn't move. He looks like he's about to give birth to Nick Hayden. The hair just furthers his self absorption and disheveled organizational skills.

Yes, most likely a downgrade. But it is what it is. Unless we can salvage someone else off the scrap heap when other teams begin the purge after June 1st.

But Saints fans spoke about White like we talk about Nick Hayden over here. The consensus on their forums was that he was a complete liability, and I'm not giving passes and blaming poor play on an incompetent defensive coordinator. I call a spade a spade.

The question is if he is better than Moore. I think he is. If Moore was put in the same situation with RR he probably would have been worse.

CB is still the top draft need, IMO.
