Found out 8/7/06 that my employer has sold off 2/3 of our operation, putting 300 people (including yours truly ) out of work. On a lighter note, our 2 largest customers cancelled all further orders. Seems the outfit we sold out to is a direct competitor of theirs. OOPS!

Hey we are the buyers in my case my company just bought Kerr-Mgee and Western Gas will be approved (it is a much smaller compoany) here in another week. We will be consildating people. In 2 -3 weeks and just because we are a the buyer does not make me safe.

While good luck I hope at least you got a good package on the way out.
