No, we have an OL coach that was also given the title of OC. There are lots of head coaches around the league that call the offensive plays and also have an OC on the staff. There's nothing unusual about that.

Our new OC will put together the gameplan and focus on the OL, hopefully especially the running game.

Even though Garrett will call the plays, I'd expect the OC and Garrett to work closely together during the week to work on the "specific types of plays" they generally want to use throughout the upcoming game.
