DALLAS COWBOYS HAND VEGAS SECOND STRAIGHT LOSING WEEK

By Micah Roberts
Nov 07, 12:15PM EST

Sunday's ninth week of NFL action saw favorites go 5-4-2 against-the-spread, which would normally be a good enough mix for Las Vegas sports books to show positive results on the day. But when the betting public loads up on a couple of those favorites and also get their most keyed-in game to cash, it doesn't bode well for the house.

The team that started the tidal wave was the Cowboys (-7.5) winning 35-10 at Cleveland.

They're America's Team again after seven straight wins and ATS covers. Each week the public love affair with them continues to multiply as winning tickets keep cashing.

I read something on this, and dallas is beating the spread.
and most bettors are taking dallas.
So they need to increase the spread lol.

Why do you think lines move during the course of the week. If the bets weren't coming in on both sides they would continue to move the lines until they had an equal amount of bets on both side.

Actually if all the money was on Dallas then they lost. If they keep it even on both sides they can't lose
If all the money was on Dallas, the line would have shifted SUBSTANTIALLY and it didn't.

Actually when a sports House receives too much wages on one side they lay off those excess to other houses unless they want to gamble themselves which is unlikely if they want to stay in business when they can simply make it on the Juice.

The same is true for illegal Bookmakers. They lay off any excess on one side they're unwilling to gamble on to other Bookmakers.

nope, read the article. If the report is true (and it is) it means Vegas got crushed by the Cowboys (people probably lost jobs/got demoted crushed))
