what did you guys think of his play? i had lost my damn mind by this point and wasnt paying attention.

I thought dallas was ******** to let the backup center play guard instead of moving gurode to guard and let costa play his natural position. But hell im no coach...who am i???

he played Gaurd in College

I thought he played pretty well

need to play him at center and see what he can do. From what I hear Gurode has a degenerative knee condition so its just a matter of time.

Well, I didn't see any isolations of him getting beat like the rest of that sieve of an oline, so maybe he wasn't terrible.

Well I saw one play where he tries to engage the DT at the snap of the ball, only to be clubbed inside as the DT runs right around him for the sack. It was funny looking because he tries to hop backwards to catch the would be sacker. As a result, he gets himself airborn with no feet/footing under his moving body. Needless to say, he made a butt landing as his guy hits Kitna stepping up in the pocket.

Don't get me wrong, there is nothing funny about our QBs getting hit. He just looked comical landing a "perfect form" of a butt flop.

I really didnt see him. I was too busy watching Free and Columbo get beat every play.

I thought he did OK. He's the ONLY Olineman we have that has a body like the Gspots linemen: he's built like a brick zhithouse and can maul.

Costa was trying to get into the second level on passes and runs to try and block. The other guys weren't.

I think he can be a player - he's the kind of lineman we need, stout, but a bit smaller with quick feet.

i was surprised to see him at G ... but C is a hard position to play in this league and you don't want to throw him in there against one of the best DL in the league at C if you can ease him in at G

I imagine that they figured a new QB would be hard enough. Adding a rookie Center into the mix would have probably created even more confusion. Doesn't really matter. We scored enough points to win. We just didn't stop their offense.
