I have always thought that the NFL needs to find ways to reward strong divisions and penalize weak divisions. In the playoff seeding the best record should have the home game no matter if the team is a wild card or division winner. And that no .500 record should make the playoffs no matter what.
Because if a team wins a division with a .500 record then that is a LOUSY division and deserves no one in the playoffs. The top two teams should get bye's and that is that. Just because you happen to win a division should not really count if that division stinks up the place.

I disagree.

GB wont go 8-8

are you saying they will be better or worse than that record. I am predicting 9 and 7 and winning the division. They are better than any team in that division but that is not saying a lot.

I think they can go 11-5 or 10-6. They are a very good team force a lot of turnovers. However Aaron Rogers got banged up which hurt them however he should be back to normal. Honestly I don't see a lose on yall schedule.

Saints Panthers Texans Jags Bears and Lions. who from that list do you think will beat yall?

I think your logic is a little flawed. Let's say it's an extremely weak division with one team superior to the rest...a mediocre team in a bad division will have an inflated record. Now if the division is superb and beats up on each other, the teams are likely to have lower records than what their talent level compared to the rest of the league reflects.

i don't think the Packers are good enough just to say they will beat any team on the schedule. They have been too inconsistent. The line played great yesterday after looking terrible against the Vikes the week before. Playing in New Orleans next Monday will be a tough game. Brees is a quality QB and it would not surprise me to see the Packers lose that game. Even if they lose that one tho, they play the Panterhs, Texans and Lions at home and hopefully will win those and if they win two of the Saints, Jags and Bears games, they should be ok.

I have not looked at the Bears or Minnys schedule but I don't think they have it any easier. I hope you are right. I hope yesterdays performance is more indicative of how they will play the rest of the year. I did expect them to play better in November-December than they did in September-December. Hopefully that plays out.

Dallas could be going back to Lambeau in January. That would be fun.

IDK man Drew bress is good but he will also throw INT's Colston v Harris will be a nice match up. Your defense forces a lot of turnovers it's not even funny. Saint's are one dimensional so expect a big game from Kapman. The OLine looked bad against one of the best DLIne's in football =/. Don't feel bad Pat & Kevin Williams + Allen = problems for every O Line in the NFL.

Yall don't want to see us in Lambeau again it's only going to be worse =)

HAHA.... 11-5... winning out the last 6 games? lol NOT!

Any Given Sunday = they could very well end up at 8-8
The Bears and Jags could get up for those games... EVEN the Lions might choose to ONLY win THAT game.

Favre is leading the Jets to the playoffs. Rodgers is looking pretty good too for a first year starter. Mick and his closet obsession for FAvre. Come on Mick, it's ok. You can be a FAvre fan and appreciate his greatness in the open. NObody will think bad of you. :)

IF he is not the greatest QB of all time, (you know I think he is) he is surely the greatest football player to ever play QB. Well at least Mike Ditka and I think so....

All I know is I thought I would never see the day when the Cards would be running away with a division. :)

Wow, there is no way the will run the table.

They can very easily lose to the saints, panthers, jaguars and bears.

Saints NEED this game next monday..

Someone will go 9-7 and win it but it will be ugly just the same.

LOL

I loved his comment a few weeks ago when he was asked about all the interceptions and just brushed it off with "we won those games"... rather smug.... but very individual of him.

It's going to be crud, lemme tell ya. In all likelihood a team from the NFC North gets into the playoffs as Division Winner with a 2-3 game worse record then the lowest Wildcard.

The Packers don't? Saints have no defense. Greg Jennings will chew them. It won't even be fair. It will be a shot out but by the end Green Bays pass rush and running game will take over.
