Two young men were recovering from gunshot wounds Monday after what police are calling a road rage incident.
Police said the victims were driving a Chevy Impala southbound on Stemmons Freeway between West Northwest Highway and Regal Row when someone in another vehicle opened fire.
The two men who were shot were hospitalized. Their identities and conditions were not available, but police said their wounds did not appear to be life-threatening.
Police said the shooting may have been fueled by a disagreement near some nightclubs along Northwest Highway.
The suspects remained at large Monday morning.

So there are two random shootings of Impalas two nights in a row in the Dallas area.

Sounds pretty odd to me.

sure, criminals would love to steal newer model cars like mercedes, bmw, etc. Once they get them, what are they going to do, strip it and sell the parts? It's easier to steal GM type vehicles as those parts sell easy. Most of the expensive cars these days have all kind of computerized equipment and tracking devices on them.

I think if your GM product has ONSTAR it could be tracked as well.
Problem for me, I wouldn't want GM having access to my every move during all the time my car wasn't being stolen.
