Could Colombo Play LT and Flo Play RT...

Just wondering if maybe the Cowboys could have Colombo and Flo switch positions?

Colombo was drafted by the Bears in 2002 as a LT. A serious injury threatened to end his career.

Bill Parcells, gave Colombo a shot, I think in 2006 and Colombo has been one of the most consistant players on the Cowboys Oline.

Now, with Flozell getting up there in age and seems to really struggle with the speed rushers, probable why he has so many false start penalties, maybe making the switch to RT could be the answer.

IMO, Colombo has the size and speed combo to play LT, as he did for the Bears.

Doing this could help prolong Adam's career and could actually make the Cowboys offensive line a little stronger and not lose any chemistry.

Its interesting but I don't know if that's possible or not. And moving Flo to RT wouldnt save him from speed rushers cause teams are just going to move their speed guy to his side to get that match up.

But Witten or Bennett could help with a chip over there.

Colombo is not light on his feet. He played his worst game on Sunday this past season. There is NO way possible!!

Adams has a hearing disability. If he hears better or worse in one ear, that could be why he is where he is.

Food for thought.

I do believe(i could be wrong) but his hearing loss is in his right ear and that's why the Cowboys tried to talk him in to a hearing aid early in his career, which he refused.

Well, Colombo's a worse RT than Flozell is a LT, so this is bound to work.

Flozell's issue is more of a brain disability. He is just a dumb player, and that isn't ever going to get better.

Thanks for clarifying that. I've often wondered.

Probably better off moving Flozell to left guard, so all he has to do is block forward and not deal with edge rushers.

Yeah I think he is deaf or partially deaf in his right ear which is why he has trouble with the snap.

Find him a position where he can stand with his hands on his hips and look stupid..Total waste of talent because he is lazy ---He has only played decent in contract years...If hearing is his problem , Dallas shouldn't give him a choice about wearing a hearing aid---He should have never been resigned

so you want to make the LT far worse?

Columbo cannot play LT. He gets eaten alive too much on the right side, he'd be a turnstile on the left side

he's a fighter and I love his attitude, but he is not great talent

When Flo 1st started he played Guard for Dallas at this stage I would just as soon put him back at Guard to finish his career.

In one game? How many sacks has he given up this year?

Flozell would be a very, very good left guard in this offense.
