I bet he had this issue for a large part of the season and tweaked it the wrong way on the scramble. I have had back issues that stay dormant, and all it takes would be one twist and I would be limping.

Makes perfect sense to that is why his deep balls have been slightly off.

Was thinking the same thing. He has not been himself this year in a lot of games although statistically he is having a great year.

Good point. I've also thrown my back out dropping a piece of paper into a waste basket. Romo has been off all year on deep throws.

If you consider the spin move he pulled to get away, any twisting of the trunk of the body could bring that problem up again.
