We're blaming everybody and everything with the Boys failures in the past few years..

Maybe J.J.'s the problem.

I think he should sell the team.:)

Since he bought the team, name one team that has won more championships than the Cowboys.

Jim Johnson made the SB teams.
Granted ,JJ hired Jimmy, but Jimmy made the Boys what they were when the were Champions.

Then JJ ran him off before The Boys could have won a few more.

JMO you understand.:)

I just wish he would let Stephen run the team. Noone wants to win more than Jerry. He just doen't need to run the team!!

Actually that is incorrect. Jimmy bolted on Jerry. Jerry begged him to stay but Jimmy was done. I was really surprised when the truth came out a couple of years ago. Everyone thought Jerry ran Jimmy out of town but it turned out that was wrong.

I think most around here agreed with how Jerry was going about turning things around. Hiring Parcells and allowing him to run the team. No doubt Jerry made mistakes before BP got here but it seemed that Jerry did the right thing and hopefully will continue.

Just for accuracy's sake, Jim Johnson is the DC for the Eagles; no connection with the Dalas SBs whatsoever. If we're going to throw names around, it wouldn't be a bad idea to get the right guy with the right team.

I agree and in the end both men agreed it was time to part but of course Jerry took the full blame.

Jimmy would have had a hard time paying all those players to play for him on a coaching salary that was not payed by Jerry.

By this standard Wayne Heinzenga or however you spell that mouthful is a failure, Al Davis is a failure (he is really just senile), Art Modell is a failure, Art Rooney is a failure, Paul Allen is a failure hell the whole league is bunch of failures.

Kraft, Jones, Rooney, the lot of them.

Yes, of course he is the problem. Jerry is a boob, a hillbilly with a few bucks. He got lucky he knew Jimmy Johnson and lucky Jimmy was a machine ...and now, we see the real Jerry a bumbling boob.
Read my Sig -we need a GM. Jerry needs his Stick Michael like Steinbrenner luckily had. We need a guy to pull of Paul O'Neil for Roberto Kelly etc...
Jerry's passion to be a football man often results in our pain.

you can blame him for 1994-2002, but since 2003 he has had nothing to do with the teams succes or failure, except for hiring Parcells

And letting Parcells at the very least get us out the depths of hell we spent nine years in.;) It shouldn't take long to get us right back there again.

whos' better?

what could Jones have done different the last 4yrs?

alot of yahoos complained for yrs about Jones' involvement, but then he hires a proven guy to come here and run things, gets out of the way and just writes checks for 4yrs and then you fools STILL complain about him

the guy just cant win with some of you...maybe you'd prefer some losers like the Bidwell's or Davis'...or maybe the people that own the Bears, Bengals etc etc
