Could Lance be trade bait for Minn

They lost McCarthy for the season, not sure who else they have back here, but is Lance worth a look to be traded there?

At this point you want him to really do well which a desperate team like this may give us better compensation? Please give your thoughts

Nobody is giving up a draft pick for him
If the Cowboys cut Lance the Vikings wouldn’t consider him. They have Darnold who was ahead of him on the depth when they were at SF. Lance does not have sufficient experience in the NFL to be a competent back up QB in the NFL. You’re correct. Suggesting he could be traded for anything is absurd.

Nobody wants Trey Lance and it seems only Cowboys fans think he's worth more than a 7th round pick.

if we can recoop a 5th. the experiment is over. lets just call it a one round loss.

Would take anything, really. Let him be someone else's project. Keeping him here will only prevent us from finding the next franchise QB

Minnesota already has a back up QB. He’s starting. There’s no need to trade for a third string QB. Third string QBs are already hanging around the league or bagging groceries close to it.
