Minnesota literally has the guy that beat out Lance in SF for the backup job. At this point you're not trading Lance....you're not trading Dak. Aside from some very minor end of the roster transactions that may happen the team that is in camp is the team you'll go into week 1 with.

Sure.

Young talented QBs are a dime a dozen.
At his talent level they sure are. Rush is better, Grier was better. Maybe lance is better than some other backups around the league but here is belongs on the practice quad at best.

Which would leave Dallas with Lance.

Which leaves them one Dak injury away from watching Trey throw 100 mile per hour footballs six yards over his receivers' heads all game long.

No one wants Cooper Rush or Trey Lance. The Cowboys may want to consider a better back up QB in case Prescott goes down.
