Could NFL implosion be far behind?

Is it possible that a large percentage of fans, players, coaches, etc.get so fed up with all the problems that they just decide not to participate. I wouldn't be surprised if the players union might start supporting the referees union and refuse to play anymore games. Is Roger on his way out?

The average NFL fan is not smart enough to realize what it'd really take to make a statement. They'll just continue to buy tickets, merchandise, etc, and think that them drunkingly yelling about it will send a message. #realtalk

I dont know about the fans....but if I was a betting man, I certainly would not place any bets on NFL games or lines that are determined by officiating....hell its like betting on WWF. Wonder if Vegas is going to see a dramatic drop on bets. It would be foolish right now to bet on these games. Betting lines dont mean a dammm thing.

I would think there are teams like Seattle and Tampa who want to keep these refs permanently and will obstruct any deal getting done.

John Mara is still in charge of the NFL Executive Committee on Labor. Fine job he is doing wouldn't you say?

Im losing interest in Dallas Cowboys football and it has nothing to do with the refs :(.

So I take it your not going to be watching any more game this season?

The only fans that may start walking away from the game are the casual fans because most diehards aren't going anywhere.

No, players will not give up checks for refs. They care only about themselves.

And if anything, this will make TV ratings higher than ever. People love drama and controversy.

Yes, being first in a division will do that to a fan.

Apparently, 75 percent of the money in Vegas on this game was with the Packers, so that call made Vegas over $250 million last night. There are some ticked of bettors out there today.

No, the NFL won't implode. But it is clear the quality of the product is declining......

I think the game has gotten better on the field

While people are crying about bad calls which i seen with the previous REFS so that does not bother me at all.

The part I love is they are allowing players to play physical. I got so sick and tired of watching WR being able to run free because if you breathe on them penalty.

The running game is becoming valuable again and not just an after thought. I was tired of 44 passes 15 run crap. I love the pass do not get me wrong but man I would love to see more of a 60% passing 40% running ration in games not just at the end of games with big leads.

Tates hit on Lee I am not even upset over the dam thing I loved the hit. Then again I am old school and think the NFL went way to soft.

That is what I like about the replacement REFS. Now they have not been perfect and they need to fix things but man I am so glad we are not having to watch touch football anymore out there.

I think the REFS will get better with time, more training and the NFL weeding out the ones that do not get better.

I have watched more non Dallas games in the first weeks this year then I have in the last 5 years because the games have been so physical and giving me flash backs to old school.

One mans opinion nothing more
