Could the Cowboys Compete with Indy in that Weather?

I'm having a hard time believing they could unless the running game was successful and we'd be ahead in TOP.

The problem is...I think the defense would've been beat routinely by their wideouts. I don't believe Dallas' defense could get any better pressure than Chicago did unless they made adjustments...and we know how much Dallas makes adjustments.

All we could hope for is a low scoring affair between the two with those turnovers coming into our favor.

What do you think?

I don't think the weather had that big of an effect on the game to begin with. As for how Dallas would fair we did not play good enough to beat the Seahawks so I would not expect that we would have played better against the Colts

I think our RBs would have to be getting the job done and you can't give Peyton Manning that many possessions.

Actually I think we beat Indy once, so of course we could compete with them, to say otherwise just means you did not watch the Indy game. The question was compete...not beat.

1st off yes I watched the Dallas Indy game ( I have not missed a single snap reg season or pre-season since 1976) so stop with the idiotic statements. 2 we beat indy earlier in the season and went on a slide late in the season and could not beat the seahawks so while teams like th colts were showing themselfs as legit contenders and improving we were not. so what we did in week 11 was meaningless unless you think the Texans as well could have won the SB considering they beat the Colts this season as well.

The Colts had a similar slide like us to end the regular season. They allowed 375 yards rushing to the Jags for Chrissake. However, the return of Bob Sanders did wonders for their D and is probably the reason they were able to advance to the Suoer Bowl this year.
