Could the Cowboys possibly play a game in London in 2025?

No team should be playing games in London or anywhere else outside of the U.S. If the NFL wants to do a preseason game there then so be it. Football (what the U.S. calls football) is not an international sport. Americans, in general, don't give a lick about cricket which is more of an international sport than American football.

The League knows it’s pretty much saturated the US market. Growth exists outside the United States. Marketing rights to various markets have already been granted to teams. The Eagles have secured marketing rights in Ghana, for god’s sake. If Jerry prefers not to entertain foreign markets I doubt any of the the other 31 NFL ownership groups cares.

Jerry Jones doesn’t know what he wants to do with his roster, his coaching staff, or where ice cubes come from. It’s probably best he doesn’t let his team venture any further than Mexico City.

Did you read the article? The answer is plain as day. I'll post it for you.
The NFL’s international games do require one team to give up a “home” game so that they can serve as the “host” for the game in question. This is why it is so impossible to believe that the Cowboys would ever “host” one of these as home games are so valuable for them.

But it is obviously possible that Dallas can be the visiting team for a game like this as they were for their last international game. The Cowboys “visited” the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London. As noted, they will visit the Jets in 2025 and that visit could, in fact, happen at Tottenham, especially since it has now been over a decade since the Cowboys have played an international game.

I think owners have to agree to the game. My guess is we will see them play a game in Mexico City before London.

i remember when we played the bears over there in the american bowl.
'85 pre-season.
i've got a program from that game.
cool cover.

Laissez-faire, free market economy, wall of nations, capitalism. The NFL is a business, if they can get money out of other places they will. Protectionism won't help their pockets.

Jerry Jones owns the most valuable franchise in all of sports. That includes soccer and soccer is far more popular than NFL football across the world. Jerry knows what he is doing in terms of creating value and making wealth.

It comes at the expense of the players, coaches, and to some degree the fans. If no one, especially the players, is going to say no then c'est la vie.

I know, buy like I said, its about making money.

I don’t know if you follow any other international sport, but since 2022 or 2023 Spain has its Football (soccer) Cup Tournament being hosted in Saudi Arabia, which has all fans extremely angry.

But yeah like I said, owners follow the money, is a free market economy or at least what they say.

It could happen, if they are asked they will probably agree. What makes it interesting is that Jerry has been linked to possible ownership of Tottenham Hotspur in the past.

It looks a weak set of games this year for us UK fans, so throwing the Cowboys into the mix would spice it up.

My guess a 25% chance.

Cowboys will give up home game in 2026 to play in Mexico is more likely

It’s never a good idea to play in London.

It’s nothing but a money grab. It’s not good for anyone but the owners lining their pockets.
Roger has pretty much one job in return for his 50m annual salary….which is continue to make more money for the owners.

Wouldn’t expect the gimmicks to end anytime soon.

Ghana? Why on earth would the NFL be interested in Africa? I’ve been to Africa multiple times and there is zero awareness, much less desire for American football. Soccer and basketball are the sports. The kids there know who Lebron is, but have no idea who Patrick Mahommes is.
