Could the cowboys still get Crosby?

Some chatter online about Crosby saying good things about the cowboy organization. Could the cowboys still have a monster move in their plans and land Maxx Crosby? Still have the draft capital and could create the necessary space and still keep Pickens. Dl would be insane.

I know it is more madden thinking then reality, but you never know if Jerry finally goes all in before his time is up!

Save the draft picks and just sign Hendrickson. He is a couple years older but Dallas would only need 2-3 good seasons from him.

Agreed. But I feel like the Front office will go with draft picks on the edge to supplement the DT's on the roster.

Yes and honestly it wouldn't shock me at all if they did. It would probably cost one of our 1sts. But we would have him locked up until 2030

Hendrickson will want as much as Parsons and probably more. Crosby is locked up until 2030 at an AAV of less than 30m

Reportedly Schot talked to after the game to say he was such a good player and Crosby said he would love to play for him and the Cowboys. Then on a recent podcast, Crosby was saying how much he respected Jerry Jones. Reading the tea leaves, I would say we cannot just close the door although still very unlikely. We could only image how our DL would be if they ever landed him.

To me its the move you make if you max out that 3 year window. You can make the financials work with him, Pickens and Clark. Its all a matter off if they still want to be stingy. If you want to really compete, either one of our FRP's would be a small price to pay

I agree, it's a win now move and worth giving up another 1st rd pick for. Although, really think they want to use those picks to keep the costs down after acquiring three players this season.

Dallas can do either if they really want to. I am not so sure Hendrickson would command that much at his age but the cost could be punted down the road. It would be great to get either but I am more concerned with a MLB and safety over a DE right now.

Yeah Hendrickson tried to cash out because he knew at his age it was gonna be hard to do so. D Law signed for 3 years 42. I’d have to think that’s a floor for Hendrickson.

I really like Crosby, and would have no problem watching the Cowboys burn a first for him. We're not getting anything close to the presence #11 had with those late 1st round Green Bay picks. If we can burn one for Crosby (who imo is a more complete player than #11 too) I'm all for it! Just seems like a good dude, good teammate, good locker room presence, and even loyal to the Cowboys having grown up in Texas.
