Could the Sun be a factor in the game Sunday?

We've all seen that Sun Monster peek in through the windows at times during the afternoon games. It could hurt Greenbay if Rodgers can't see downfield. It could be a nice homefield advantage for Dallas if they play it right.

It will only be for a while because we're the late game and the sun will be setting about half an hour into the game.

I believe Sturm was there last week and said the sun never reached the playing field. It was on the sidelines, but never reached any further. That's all I have heard about it though so nothing much else I can add.

Found it. Not sure what time it usually hits the field, or if it will at this time of year but this is all the information I've seen on the subject.

Yeah says rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon, probably won't be a factor. Heck, open the roof! Yeah, that'll happen

Seriously. As long as we are considering external factors, the earth's electromagnetic pull is at an all-time. high. The tides are shifting causing unusual atmospheric pressure. Volcanic activity south of Texas will definitely create difficult breathing conditions, and the moon is full.

Don't forget the fracking for oil/gas that they did under the stadium a few years ago that caused some earthquakes.

I would like to experience a game there with the roof open. Do they ever open it anymore?

Supposed to rain all weekend here. But then again, how often are these weather predictions right.

Maybe it rains when / if we are facing the sun, and it's sunny when / if GB faces it. :muttley:

I can't remember the last time it was open, it wasn't this year. Should have just made it domed I'm sure that would have cut millions off the price tag
