I was actually there for that one...I kept the ticket stub.

I think the distance between where we are after this game and where we would have been if we didn't hold them on that last series, is HUGE.

I also think a win like this gives the team something to build on..AND..it allows Parcells to be his usual surly self without losing the players. They'll take a lot more guff if they are winning.

You may be on to something, we got off to such a poor start to overcome and still win. This game is really a motivational game for at least the rookies. Ware got a chance to see the change in the pro pace as did Pettiti and we still won. Now they can start to adjust, because when we needed plays to be made it was the vets that stepped up. Our rooks will have to be more of a factor for that 95 game to translate into this year.

This was a HUGE win. Considering we face WAS, SF, and OAK in the next 3 games, we should start off 4-0. Oakland is the only team I realistically see us possibly losing to. Of course, we could completely botch one of the games, but if we can go 3-0, or 4-0 for that matter, it should be a huge confidence builder going into the 2 home games vs. Philly and the Giants,

"Should" is a dangerous word in the NFL

The Rams were using it alot before today

Well, with this game in the books, looking ahead at the schedule, a 2-0 - and 3-0 - start is needed if we're to become a serious playoff contender. San Francisco had a great day today, but to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Martz just completely had his team unprepared for that game. Neither the 'Skins nor 'Niners are playoff contenders, and if we are one, we simply have to defeat those teams.

You'd like to think the Cowboys learned a lot about themselves today and can carry that momentum over to next week. However, that momentum can be quickly lost if we lose to Washington at home.

Today's game has really left me thirsty to see what the Cowboys can do next. The wait for Monday's game is going to seem like an eternity.

Oh, I think this game, and the way ot was won, can be a real springboard for this team. Who knows if it actually will though? The offense was pretty effective against a stout, agressive defense. The defense played well against last season third highest scoring offense. That last stand does nothing but build confidence though.

MIke Nolan is a good football coach. I think San Fran may sneak a few like this one. That said, they had no business winning and not just because I chose this game in the Elimination contest.

:banghead:

If we can start 4-1 I will be ordering Koolaid.

Good point. Parcells himself has always said his act gets tiresome when the team is losing.

Big, big win no matter how you slice it.
