He never seems to ever clutch the ball solidly. I know it might just be case of the yips, but I wonder if his hand is bothering him.

I think it is a combo of thinking about it too much and still recovering from the surgery.

To has always had bad technique he tries to catch with his body a lot.

Look at his last TD he caught it in the cradle not with his hands. It is bad technique that is all.

T.O. is just not a natural pass catcher. He lets the ball get into his body too often. I hear his catching technique would've been something that they would've worked with him during camp.

My friend is a die hard Niners fan. He warned me this is gonna happen (the drops). Cost them a game against Chicago with a big drop a while back.
