Could we get Mankins for a 2nd?

With the Patriots history of giving up players that are in Mankins situation, what do you think requiring him would take? A 2nd round pick?

If so would you?

Forget about mankins, if Dallas loses today, they're done!

He wants a big contract and if you trade for Mankins, he won't be ready for two or three weeks, he hasn't been to training camp, he's not in shape to play right away..

Man we've been saying this for weeks now, shows you how bad the NFC is. I'd trade a 2nd and/or package a play for Mankins in a heart beat if the pats are up to it.

Barber + a 4th maybe.

Oh trust me I'm pumped!

But because I'm a fan and even if we lose today I'll think of ways we can improve for the future. One of those is the line, it's the weak link on offense. If Mankins could be had for a 2nd, I think it's an easy decision in our position.

Patriots don't want high priced players

That's B.S. The guy is a veteran. Give him a full week and he'll be ready. If not that then definitely two weeks of practice.

Since the oline is the lifeblood of the offense, we should have moved weeks ago on it.

I don't care what it costs, this o-line needs upgraded and it JJ's money, not mine.

2nd NO!!!!! we hold the power lets low ball them for a 4th or 3rd then yes I would make that trade

Is he not a proven stud on the o-line?

If we draft an o-lineman in the FIRST round, what are the chances that he is starting right away? Not good.

I would do the trade for a second without even thinking about it. The o-line is too important....the best QB in the world will look like a JAG behind a porous o-line.

Give me a dominant o-line for the Cowboys and the chances of a ring go up exponentially.

Grab Mankins with a 2nd and any good FS in the 1st. I don't watch College ball, are there any good safeties this coming draft?

Only two more days before the ruing ratchets up a whole 'nother notch.

Hopefully the D shows up this week cause if that first drive is anything to go by Romo and the O line didn't

just realized i'm posting in the wrong thread lol

No sense trading for anyone at this point.

Makes more sense trading some of the Cowboy's talent for future draft picks.

I disagree.

I think this team could not only use Mankins now, but there has got to be major changes coming at guard anyway.

Leonard Davis is terrible and Kosier unfortunately cannot stay healthy.

The guard spot is in need of a major overhaul, why wait?

Better yet, why risk rolling the dice in the draft when you can get a sure thing?

Just because this season is shot doesn't mean we shouldn't try to improve for next year.

Give a first to upgrade the o-line....like I have said before the best QB will look like a JAG with a porous o-line in front of him.

I'd rather see them keep the pick.
