Could we pull off a trade for Revis?

Now this may sound like madden but Revis is said to want $15m-$17m longterm per year. We are paying Carr $10m.

Now lets say we were able to trade Carr & a 1st for Revis. This is something that would make sense for the Jets and the financial difference would be Doug Frees contract..

May still be madden-like but it surely could be done and would make headlines around the nation. Jerry would love it.

Is the difference between Revis and Carr worth the cap hit trading Carr would incur as well as the difference in their salaries?

Let alone that the Cowboys are criticized for switching to Cover 2 since it already has so much money invested at the position of corner.

Hell no I'm not trading Carr and a 1st for a corner. We need help in the trenches, specifically the offensive side. Why would we trade our 1st for a position that's really not a big issue right now?

Have to agree with the facepalm, we already have 2 quality CB's and need Offensive Line help in the worse way, we have to spend our limited resourses wisely.

Is Jerry still making you wipe his glasses RTA?

this trial balloon wont fly

i dont like this idea and i hope we dont trade for revis. carr is not a scrub and i dont know why people are not happy with the guy, he is a fine corner. as for the pick? no way we need all our draft picks this year thats for sure

no

* fix/upgrade the dline and the CB's go to the pro bowl (via their stellar stats)
* Fix/upgrade the oline and the offense keeps the defense off of the field longer and our CBs are fresher
* the cap hit alone would be ridiculous
* the difference between revis and carr is not worth the extra money and the cap hit let alone the first round pick

no
