Countdowns updated mock

If we decide to move Henry to FS, I would like to get A. Samuel off FA or Get a top corner in the first or second.

If Henry is kept at CB, we could always draft in lower rounds or get someone like Hood.

RG is a major priority. Either sign Dielman or Steinbach from FA. If we draft one we should take one in the first or second round Blalock, Grubbs or Beekman. OR move Adams to RG and draft Levi Brown for LT.

WR. Slim pickens in FA. We could get a decent receiver in 1st-3rd round.

Do we trade Julius or do we keep him.

Back up QB?

Then are we a 3-4 or 4-3 defense. Do we get some NT or DT, a 3-4 DE or a 4-3 DE. What type of LB do we need.

I think Jerry needs to make his mind up with the coaches and get everyone on page to see what direction this team will be going. Should be and exciting couple of months.

Well a nickle could look like this (from defensive left to right):

Draft Pick (CB), Newman (Slot), Williams (SS), Watkins (FS), Henry (CB).

:hammer:

From a non-homer point of view, Ross was easily the best CB at the Senior Bowl practices.

What I really like about him is that he has a few flaws in his fundamentals but made up for that with his athleticism. Technique can be taught, fluid hips can't.

Right now he's fighting it out with Revis from Pitt as my top corner on the board.

I like Revis alot too

All mock drafts, even on the eve of the draft, are pure speculation by people who think they know what the hell the coaches and the GM's are thinking...

Therefore they're all moot...

This mock is no different than any other...

Look less on who they pick and more on who is available around those picks. They are rarely right and its way too early with the combine not being held yet.

If they're such a waste of time, why bother posting on this site about one?

This looks like one of those 24 dollar questions.

;)

thanks, I went back and saw that they have us passing on VIctor Abiamiri in the 2nd! for an offensive guard!!!

Aaron Ross and Victor w/ our 1st 2 picks would be outstanding

Yeah, I would prefer Abiamiri too. I just read up on Beekman and he is considered a second tier OL and is only 6-1. He's not worthy a 2nd round pick imo and Abiamiri would be a great value there. I would also seriously consider trading down with the 1st round pick because there is a lot of talent in that late first early second area.

I wouldn't mind trading down at all, and w/ the depth of the 1st 2 rounds, it's very possible that we do, or that Jerry would be willing to do

The square root of a million is a thousand... :D

Boo to Texas corners, they seem to flop without exception i.e Quentin Jammer, Bryant Westbrook. Stick with Henry.
