He said Ogletree was working at kickoff returns :) I don't expect a Devin Hester. But I'm excited that the kid could be active and hopefully become a real asset to the Cowboys in the future.

He said Felix was 100% and may not wear the knee brace this weekend.:bow::bow:

I think Ogletree needs to take a series or two away from Roy.

Demoting Crayton lit a fire under his arse. Maybe the same can be said for Roy.

I'm tired of seeing his half-***** routes being run. Don't get me wrong, I love his blocking ability, but the other part needs some work.

I think I would rather Felix wear the brace. In fact get him one for the other leg.

...common sense move by wade....no need to risk Felix or Austin on kickoff action....

Gives Ogletree the ST position to get active......from there a few plays or series on offense is an easy progression....

Roy's routes weren't the problem in this last game. His routes this year on a whole have been pretty good as well.

I seriously, seriously, don't get the Ogletree love.

Maybe he'll make a contribution in the future, but as an undrafted free agent WR (See Miles Austin and Sam Hurd), he needs some time to learn and acclimate to the pro game. I would not get my hopes up about him getting any significant time on offense this season.

Well for me personally it's not "love" but he seemed to be really in tune w/ Romo and made some nice catches. He's quick too.

I think the Ogletree love is actually Ogletree hope. I think we are all hoping that Ogletree was just in a bad situation in college and actually has NFL ready talent. Miles and Hurd were from small schools and needed lots of time getting up to NFL speed. Maybe Ogletree does too, but his preseason was a pretty nice start.

Welcome to the board. FYI, your avatar is really similar to that of Juke99 (he's a moderator). I also think that animated sigs are not allowed. Not being a jerk, just thought I'd let you know.

Ogletree turned around a pretty good corner in Nate Clements a couple times in the San Fran preseaon game. Gives you hope he might develop into something. He is quick and seems to run some pretty good routes.

From what I saw in camp, he's well ahead of where they were when they were rookies. I'd still give him at least one offseason, probably two, before I'd expect him to make any serious contribution, though.

I have no idea how he'll play as a WR but I'm intrigued enough and I've seen enough of him and others to want to see him play a few snaps. I think he'll be precise enough to not cause an interception. And he may just make a play or two. I wouldn't play him extensively. He's fast enough on KR's.

For Jerry to still be bringing him up he must still be making plays in practice and the coaches and scouts must be talking him up. He is intriguing.
