1. Rod Smith is not a very good backup
2. Gallup is open. A lot.
3. Amari was worth the first
4. Dak's ball security sucks in the pocket
5. We almost lost and also won because of Dak
6. Defense was more porous in the second half.
7. OL playing well in spite of playing backups. Alexander must have been the problem.
8. The "lets Tank" group is pretty quiet.
9. We are squandering a lot of scoring opportunities
10. I'm still not all that pumped on Linehan but he was better in spots today. The specific play call on 4th down was a poor play choice IMHO.
11. There is no team that the Cowboys can't beat if they are playing well that day. But you can't assume any game is a win either.
12. The Cowboys have a chance to rest some of their hurt players over this 3 game stretch. OL is very depleted right now.

Next week will be interesting. We are playing a real franchise QB. The defensive coordinator knows our team and the coach was the offensive coordinator for the Eagles.

agree with 2-12
whats wrong with 4 rushes 27 yards along with 2 catches for 16?
 
1. Smith is fine. Zeke is just that much better than almost every other running back.

6. They were left on short fields and quick change of possesion many times in the 2nd half .
 
Our defense is based on effort and speed, more than trying to fool the offense. If the games get long like today, they are going to get gassed and not be able to give the same effort and have the same speed.
 
I wouldn't say Rod Smith is bad... But I would definitely say he doesn't compare to Zeke at all. He really does seem like a 3rd stringer/special teamer playing as primary backup though.

Also. I thought the 4th down call was exactly what they wanted. The defense all went one way but Zeke went the other and it put him one on one with a CB to gain 1 yard. I think that's exactly what they had planned.

But I could be absolutely wrong about that, I haven't watched it in too much detail yet.
 
Game was really weird. Dallas could've lost had their kicker made that pat. The offense and mistakes will do this team in come playoffs but these wins have been fun.

Every game is a wild ride on the Dak roller coaster.
 
2 things concern me as we get closer to post-season.
1.Dak HAS to protect the ball and make "smarter" throws.
2.we are having worrisome lapses on special teams....giving up big returns...Jourdan's almost fumble.

but our defense just might be able to get us out of trouble.
our defense and running game gives us more than a chance.

I don't see a gimme game in those last 3. Need to show up and play well or any of those 3 can beat you. And we don't have a chance to rest anyone. Unless it is the last game and if it is nothing to play for.

Pretty much agree on all points.

Strange game for Dak. He was really bad on a few throws, but I thought was very decisive and sharp on many others. Easy to forget he is twenty-five.
 
2 years ago I would have fought anyone that said zeke deserved a $15m+ contract. I would now fight myself.

5. Thats our team. Like him, hate, love. We are gonna be Dak for the next 5 years.
