Remind me of each other. Athletic and evasive. Quick release. Good arm talent. Quick thinker and fast reaction time. Willing to make risky throws. Questionable decision making at times, and unproven at closing big games and in key moments.

BTW - not criticizing Romo. Didn't say Cousins was as good as Tony, but they remind me of each other.

Meh

Not really seeing it. Romo was MUCH MORE active at the line, making adjustments, and he seemed to do a much better job of "throwing his receivers open" than Cousins does.

If Cousins was truly like Romo, he wouldn't be franchised...he'd be signed to a long term deal.

Cousins did a good job making plays last night. He is a good QB for 3 quarters most of the time. Romo proved over and over that he can finish games in the 4th qtr. That is the thing lacking with Cousins to me. I don't watch the Skins a lot but he has never finsihed against the Cowboys and seems to come up a bit short at the end of games. Take the NO game for example....

Kirk doesn't have the Moxie yet.

Cousins is solid. Better than some think, imo. Not great though.

And fwiw, Romo has all of those 4th qtr comeback winning drives and one of the higher 4th quarter ratings of all time.
Cousins....not so much on either front.

I'm not sure Cousins has many "signature" wins or performances that he can really hang his hat on....in general he seems to come up short against good competition whereas Romo was a master 4th quarter comeback artist and routinely carried poor rosters to playoff contention several years in a row. It was a real shame that his health and age got ahead of him by the time our roster was up to par.

Cousins, for whatever reason, is not good inside the red zone. He is prone to some mind bogglingly bad interceptions in that area of the field.

Cousins is in a similar situation Romo was in - he has a ton of talent, can make almost every throw. The Commanders, and a lot of it has to do with injuries, just aren't anywhere near a complete team yet.

Commanders should lock him up and they should be thinking about moving on from Gruden.

Cousins should be the guide map of what not to do with Dak

We should offer Dak 4/60m after 2018.........100% guaranteed

Even if we re-do it after 3 years it is better than using the Franchise Tag

Who thinks Cousins could be headed to play for the Giants if Eli leaves?

Romo was far better than Cousins in every way until he lost his mobility.

Cousins is good though. Better than Dak right now by a mile.

I think he's headed to San Fran after the 49ers flip Garrapolo for a high pick.

Cousins and Shanahan have a healthy bromance, and San Francisco is the perfect place for that.

I don't wish to be labeled as a 'Dak hater' by saying this, but,,, after he took that helmet hit to the midsection with his right hand pinned in there, I secretly wanted to see some 'Rush'
out there for a couple of series, granted he could've been 'picked-6' and changed the entire outcome of the game differently but it seems like we're treating the middle field section of the field like a radioactive dump site or something, I'm talking 30 yards down field, Romo never paid any heed to the zurpping Geiger Counters sounding off while he was compiling numbers Cousins will only see if he should ever care enough to look up his distant stat placement for comparison, once he's battered, beat& bounced out of the league prematurely too, as compared to #9'so_O

If Garrapolo plays well, San Fran isn't getting rid of a 26 year old QB for one who is about to turn 30.

Garrapolo will be their future.

Cooper Rush
Color Rush

You KNOW that's what NBC and Nike were wanting. LOL

Lol... I disagree 100% Dak is in a bit of a slump right now but I think he's more clutch than kirk. Kirk pads his stats at meaningless junctures of games and is a mistake waiting to happen. He's 1-6 vs Dallas with the only win coming against Kellen Moore during the 2015 debacle.
