Cousins wants out of Washington

This is fine.

They should just trade. It would be selling high right now. Keep him and they lose him for nothing

So he can walk next off season and go get paid a mountain of a fortune by the browns right?

First he would need to play better than Osweiler.
Second Washington could tag him again for next year.:muttley:

Wait, so you think Cousins hasn't outplayed Osweiler? That's an interesting take. I hope you don't mind me asking, what drugs do you use?

I don't understand all the Cousins bashing, he completed 69 passes out of 99 for 813 yards against us with 4 TDs and 1 interception. The second game he lit us up.

Im pretty positive this is his second tag in a row....

And by CBA rules if him and the team cannot strike a deal he cant be chained down with a tag again

You can tag a player a 3rd time for 144 percent of his previous salary, it just doesn't happen because the numbers get pretty crazy. If they tagged him again, it would be almost 34.5 million in 2018 which is a straight cap hit. So it is possible, just not very likely.

Ahhhh... I refuse to answer that.

Eagle fans may read this forum.

And I thought the rolleyes and laughing Icon kind of gave it away that this was not a serious post.

I think last year it was off his RFA.

But I could be wrong. Not the first time.

I think he is good. Maybe not top 10 but a guy you can win with. He did have some mistakes to end the season that helped them miss the playoffs. I would pay him his asking price eventhough it may make it hard to fill out the roster. I would only move on if I had an immediate upgrade available. There are not many of those guys around. Washington is like Dallas. Very good offense but needs to find playmakers on defense. I would keep the offense humming and look to upgrade the defense via the draft.
