As examples, these can be:

1. Something you think is a serious effort given, and particularly well done
2. Perhaps not the best of covers or impersonations, but a good solid effort
3. Intentionally humorous — or maybe just a bit different — but watchable

Hopefully this will be a fun thread and, though subjective, it will bring some new stuff to the everyone in the name of passing some time while we wait for Training Camp.

Here's something that was posted on MSN.com that got me thinking along these lines, because I enjoy what I can't do in the field of musical entertainment:
Watch an insanely cute family cover Depeche Mode

The bar for unspeakably cool dads has been raised yet again. DMK is a father/son/daughter Depeche Mode cover band from Bogota, Colombia, who, with the recent debut of "Black Celebration," have now produced four cover song videos. Dad (Dicken Schrader) does the heavy lifting with most of the music and vocals while kids (Milah and Korben) have played larger band roles in each successive video, playing winds, keyboard and "trinkets."

DMK: Black Celebration - I loved watching the kids and the Dad has some musical skills, I thought.

Here is a cover of a Classic. Absolutely no disrespect meant to Freddie Mercury or David Bowie ... I love this song of theirs ... but this was actually performed by Stevie Riks... impersonator/comedian/singer/musician... playing and singing both parts.

One more, just to get the ball rolling...

I just provided the link, not sure how staff feels about posting music videos.
Not able to connect through the link you posted for some reason. And I don't believe that Reality or the Mods have any problem w/ posting YouTube videos, music or otherwise, as long as they meet site rules and are considered family friendly.

Bon Jovi's version of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah"

I'm also a fan of the Stones' "Wild Horses" covers by multiple artists.

This is a bit different: the Yeah Yeah Yeahs asked fans to send in videos of themselves performing "Cheated Hearts". They pasted a whole bunch of bits together to make their video:

The Gourds cover of Gin and Juice rocks. I don't link to it b/c of the language, but it's cool.

Boys122, I think the double http:// was messing things up, not letting me connect by clicking the link in your post, before.

Out of curiosity, I converted it from the code to see what you had intended to post so we could all enjoy it. I most certainly did. Uncle Kracker covering one of my all-time favorites, Drift Away. What a great rendition of the song, I thought. Nice!
