I know you're saying that tongue-in-cheek, but I wonder if maybe they look to put Gregory there. On passing downs, you'd potentially have Hardy, Mincey, Crawford, Lawrence, and Gregory.

I'm beginning to think that might have been the imagination of a a blogger.

I'm always surprised when players get cut at this time of year. They need a 90 man roster going into training camp. Getting cut now probably indicates they didn't do what was expected of them in the off-season and/or they got into some type of trouble.

I thought Dekoda Watson might be worth keeping, at least through camp, maybe for ST.

It's possible that they have other opportunities to pursue, especially Hawkins, an OT from UT, who won't make our second string line.

I think he was costing us on the cap 1.5 million, if I remember correctly.

hawkins sucks. i was surprised when we picked him up last year. he's a borderline nfl player.

Cuts take us from 12.8 million under the cap to 13.3 million subtract about 5.2 million for rookies and that takes us to 8.1 million....

AP did say he would take a cut to 8 million I believe
