why does this guy start threads here and then not paricipate in them?

Because I have things to do.

As far as responses to what I can remember.

I have serious doubts whether or not O'Hara will be able to play. He has practiced very little but there is still a big question on his status. Madison has not practiced at all.

Boss has shown he is the receiving TE that Shockey is. However, Shockey has turned into a very good blocker. Boss has not had the time to do so. That is where Shockey's absence may hurt.

Unfortunately for Giant fans, the question of which Eli shows up is never answered until after the game. If the Eli from the past two weeks shows up, this game is up for grabs. Anything less, it could be a long day. I'm not saying which one shows up. I'll wait until the game to see.

The X factor here is Ahmad Bradshaw. He didn't see time at RB against the Cowboys. He is pretty good when he comes in towards the end of the game after Jacobs has battered the defense. He has impressed so much that the Giants will probably not be resigning D. Ward after the season. Bradshaw could be a deciding factor in the game, something which hasn't been discussed too much.

Even without TO, the Cowboys offense can still boast 6 pro bowlers. I'm confident Dallas wins regardless of whether or not TO plays.

I'd say about 85% with / 65% without.

Sorry, I can't believe that Boss has been just as good a receiver as Shockey. He didn't look nearly as athletic in the Bucs game to me.

Watching that game on NFL Replay tonight, the Bucs D-line just got pushed around. I don't think that'll happen to Rat, Canty, and Spears. Plus our LBs are a lot bigger and stronger than Tampa's.

My question for Tom: How's Zac DeOssie doing? I'm surprised I didn't see his name on the All-Pro list from the way some were acting when we didn't get him. ;)

With Owens 85%, without him, 45%. Defenses can play more man to man and take away our run game with Owens out. Adding TG to the lineup can help fix that problem, assuming TG is healthy and has his speed, which is a huge question mark until we see him in the game.

How confident in terms of percent are you in the Cowboys winning this week both with TO and without him?

Honestly, deep down inside, not very. I don't know, really.

Funny how after the Detroit and Philly games, there were several threads started how "The old, cancerous, pain in the arse TO is emerging". But right after the Carolina game, the tone by these same people quickly changed. Funny how you don't see a player's value until after they go down.(i.e. Flozell in '05)

For some reason I am confident about this game. I just have this feeling that Phillips and Garrett have been working on this for a while and that we are going to win this game and the next!

Whatever I may think about TO's personality, the guy's unbelievable. It bugs me to hear he's a fast healer all the time, when the reality is he's primarily just willing to play with enormous pain. Broken hand, broken leg, sprained ankle. Whatever. Even the haters on this board expect him to play and play well. That's a pretty cool thing to be able to say about somebody when you think about it.

If Terrell Owens does not play this weekend, I believe the Cowboys would have to play a near perfect game and the Giants will have to have a somewhat sloppy game for us to win.

You will be literally taking away 15 TDs, 81 Receptions and 1355 Receiving Yards worth of production out of your offense. This also doesn't include alot of the things that don't show up on stats, Terrell Owens brings to the table.

I'm 99% sure we'll win with or without him. We're the better team and we've already stomped the Giants 2x. The rest of our team (many of whom were out before or not at 100%) is at or near 100% and raring to go regardless of TO's condition.
