I was just curious how the rest of you Cowboy fans out there feel about TO coming to the Cowboys. I am a Philly AND TO hater, but now the prospect o bringing him to the Cowboys bothers me.

Anyways, the question is if TO is on the Cowboys for the rest of this season and/or the entire next season, when he performs like he usually does and scores a lot of TDs and makes game breaking plays, how would we feel? I am not sure if I even know.

I can't stand TO but he is an AWSOME player. At the same time, he can very easily and single handledly DESTROY a team. Unfortunatly, this question of signing TO is NOT up to us - so if he is on that field, in our Cowboy uniform, playing in Texas Stadium as "his" home stadium we, as true Cowboy fans, have no other option but to cheer TO on. This is a tough thing to do for a TO hater like myself.

One last thing about TO... NO MATTER what team he ends up going to, he SHOULD behave for the rest of this season and next season for some bigger contract money... I think he'll also feel fortunate to be wanted and signed by THAT team. IF the Cowboys do sign TO, they should only get him for the rest of this season and 1 more season and then release him to let him find some money $$$ with another team.

In the end...

GO COWBOYS!!!

I could not, and still can not, stand Deion Sanders...however when he was with the team I would hope that he did his best.

And if he made a play I would cheer with the idea in my mind that even though I did not like him....his play helped the team so I was cheering for the team.

This does NOT mean I want TO on the team.

However if we did get him and he scored I would cheer because it helped the team and I would cheer for the team.

However there is no way I will like him as an individual just as I did not like Sanders.

I would cheer the TD and boo the endzone BS he pulls. The man needs to act like he has been in the endzone before. I'm not going to spend much time on this topics I think most know my feeling of not wanting this bonehead on the team.

You need to check out this Jerry Jones quote....

Quote of the Week
"I'm avoiding, deliberately avoiding, saying whether or not the Cowboys would be interested. He's a player that is a competitive player. He's an outstanding addition to an offense ... In general, I am a risk-taker. A top player like the Burger King could flourish here. That's always appealing.''

-- Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, on the Dunham and Miller Show on KCTK in Dallas, on the prospect of the Burger King playing for the Cowboys in the future.

It lets you know the mindset of Jerry Jones in his quest for another Super Bowl.......j/k ;)

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to start up "another" TO thread, but it seems like this could be a very possible situation...

I would also root for TO because he is helping our team win. I hate his attidtude, on and off the field, but there is NO denying the fact that he has unbelievable talent. Too bad he is such a wack-job.

I just hope that there aren't any Cowboy fans that go out and buy #81 or whatever TO's # will be in Dallas.

Honestly, I'd rather that they don't sign TO at all and save us all a headache... we already have some very good WRs, and although TO would be our BEST WR and a game-breaking WR (1 of the top 3 WRs in the NFL), it seems it would be better to avoid the problem of dealing with TO. Again, you'll will see TO behave on the next team he will be on and not try to cause any distractions - but it is just a matter of time before he IMPLODES that team that happens to pick him up if they keep him on their team long enough.

GO COWBOYS!!!

I'll have to make a sign for Thursday game that says "Jerry Say No To T.O" maybe try to start a few chants late in the game. LOL

I always worry about Jerry Jones and his "greedy" side. TO is an attraction and a side show that brings in A LOT of media attention. He also sees a great deal - spending less $$$ for what TO's skills on the field are. Excluding his personality, this is a GREAT deal.

I just hope that JJ understands that this media attention is BAD and that TO's BAD personality can ruin a team.

Its kind of funny how this whole TO thing is playing out...

Reminds me of A-Rod and the Yankees.

The Yankees didnt go after him on his way to Texas(like Dallas didnt go after TO on way to Philly) but then

A-Rod gets scooped up by Yankees(at a deal I might add) Texas paid about $60 million of salary) - Yankees get him at somewhat of a deal

TO gets scooped up Dallas at somewhat of a deal. He wont get top dollar. Thanks Eagles. LOL

I do not want TO to play for the Cowboys. Many Cowboy fans think Jones/Parcells can control TO with a short-lived, strict contract & lots of money. Eagles gave him $9M upfront, paying him another $2.?M this season and if he had behaved, h would get another $5M in March. But he couldn't keep his mouth shut and just had to denigrated his QB, his coach, etc. Also, if we do mistakenly sign him to what we think is ironclad contract, TO then has the leverage cause we will have invested so much money into him that Jones and even Parcells might be unable to reign him in. Also what kind of example will he be to our younger plays; they will see him getting away with things (and don't be foolish enough to think TO is reformed & can be controlled by anyone & Irvin's totally wrong to say TO knows he made a mistake in Philly cause TO made same mistake in SF). How many times before football fans realize that? What happens if TO does sign with Cowboys and we don't go to/win SB and he becomes his usual self, what will happen to the time Parcells putting together so well that we might be able to win 3 out of 4 again w/o TO. Finally, everyone thinks TO behaved himself last season with the Eagles. Was listening to NFL Monday QB & Ditka & he showed shots of TO getting after McNabb last season cause TO felt he wasn't getting enough catches. In other words, TO is never satisfied he wants all the money he can get anyway he can get it and he wants all the catches, forget anybody else. In other words, he wants to be king of the hill and doesn't want to share the limelight with anyone, particularly his QB. And even with best contract we give him he will end up running to Players Union crying for their help. He is a jerk and a disgrace and I don't want him for the Cowboys. But if we sign him that no Cowboy fan should every say that the Cowboys are a class team and talk about Stauback & Aikman cause signing TO shows we have no class and we will be the joke of the league. After all, aren't everybody blaming the Eagles cause "they knew what they were getting". If somebody fools you once, shame on you, if they fool you twice shame on you. Jerry Jones is a fool if he thinks he and Parcells can control TO. I'd rather see someone else sign him and then laugh when TO screws them up and not see that happen to my Cowboys. I want to win the SB as much as all of you but I'd like to win more then just 1, maybe 2 or even 3 like the Pats. Not a one shot deal and that is what TO would be and that's if we even get there. Besides he would destroy our cap. Which players do we not bring back (Roy Williams & Witten) cause we can't afford to resign him and still perhaps sign the great center we need to get our OL going. Doesn't matter how good TO is if we can't keep Bledsoe on his feet.
