Cowboy fans playoff rooting guide from this week games

Agreed. I think that’s one of those, just randomly pick games lol
Probably so, I noticed they're suggesting we root for Denver vs Pittsburgh, even though has nothing to do with NFC.

Seems odd that they have Carolina winning, as being the better scenario vs Seattle. Both those teams hold the tie breakers for the wild card spot over Dallas, so a Carolina loss would seem more beneficial, given they are one game better than Seattle.

Could argue these 2 games either way.

Seattle - Carolina
GB - Minnesota

Carolina and Seattle have the tie breaker over us. But when it comes to the WC possibilities. Is it better GB and Seattle wins?
As it keeps us within a game of all of them with 5 left to play.

Minnesota and Carolina wins, in knocks GB and Seattle down further from us, but it puts Minnesota and Carolina further ahead.

The best chance for us is still the division. But if we lose to NO, is it better to be close with 5 teams competing for 2 WC's or be a few games behind in the WC race.

Eagles defensive starters out for the game:

S Rodney McLeod
CB Ronald Darby
CB Jalen Mills
CB Sidney Jones
DE Derek Barnette
MLB Jordan Hicks

This could very well be a loss today.

I thought Carolina was odd too but I think the idea is that if Dallas don't win the division and needs a wildcard spot, the path to a wildcard is easiest if Carolina takes another step towards securing the 5th seed and Dallas ends up 1 game ahead of Seattle in the quest for the 6th seed.

I didn't realize we were so close to a wild card, I thought for sure that winning the division was the only way in.

I think I'd much rather see the Eagles put the final nail in the in the Giants coffin. That way we can take care the Eagles in couple weeks and don't play the Giants until last game of the season. Hopefully, we can have things wrapped up by then.

Not really, get one of the teams out of the running. Carolina has a better record so Seattle losing would take them out of the 6th spot.
