Probably because the first game we could pass at will and didn't focus on the run game.

This game was a gimme.....we clearly didn't bring our "A" game.

want a list?

1. Williams' 1st priority is stopping the run (i.e. 8 in the box)

2. Garrett uses the passing game to open up the running game, it's no secret the passing game has been sub par as of late, therefore the running game suffers

3. Injuries to key players on offense contribute to the recent lackluster production

not sure, there were alot of guys around the line of scrimmage and we were not moving our wr around a lot.

Without gurode and owens it is hard to tell from todays game, but the first game it was because we were making huge chunks of yards in the passing game and we ran in alot of obvious situations.

Good game and effort from the skins today though, they did what they were supposed to do and that is not always that easy.

I take it you think that could happen every time you face us huh?

Just like some of you guys used to say that TO never has good games against your team regardless of which team he is playing for.

BTW, in the game above, the guy you "contained" was the leading rusher for either team. Just food for thought.

Well, it could be that the Skins thought this game was the Super Bowl, leaving in their starters the whole game. They certainly played with a lot of passion, and that last touchdown was pure genius.

Or, it could be that Dallas didn't need to worry about beating the Skins, and therefore chose to rest the injured, and also to show up with a vanilla offense and defense. Why develop an elaborate game plan, when the objective was to get a couple of records for Witten and Barber.

Or, it could be that the Skins are that much better than the Cowboys, and while the Cowboys were rolling to a 13-2 record over the course of the season, and the Skins were struggling to develop a mediocre quarterback into an NFL quality player, and therefore lost games in an effort to get ready for the late season push on the way to an 8-7 record, closing with three straight wins to get to 8 wins, that has simply made them the odds on favorite to win the real Super Bowl.

See you in two weeks. It will be a different Cowboys team you'll be seeing, and one that will remember the cheap touchdown y'all scored in the waning moments of the game. Class.

I think they need to do a better job of playcalling and snap counts. It's probably one of the things that isn't talked about in football, but when LB's are consistently shooting the right gaps at the right time to take down tailbacks, then that's usually a product of the defense knowing what's coming rather than poor blocking. I think if Dallas could get the short and intermediate passing game going, along with running some screens and playaction bootlegs, that would keep the Commanders defense off balance. Then when they want to run with Barber, he would be entirely more effective.

Gotta give the skins some credit on this one. Last week Held AP to 27, and shut us out completely.

At some point you just have to tip your hat to them and say "good job".

That being said, we still have Romo, and you don't.
