Has anyone read anything relating to how much Romo, KItna and McGee will play during the Thursday Night Game against Oakland ???

it's the same every year, certain starters will play a series or two at the most, backups the rest of the game.

Forget the score, nobody should care about the score, it's all about getting the young kids reps and see how they perform.

We've gone like 4-1 in the preseason before and sucked that year. You're right, it's all about individual performance. I would rather have a losing preseason so the players don't go into the first few games thinking they're already won.

Probably the typical thing.
Romo 1, maybe 2 series, generic plays, maybe one deep throw.
Kitna the rest of the 1st half, or a good part into the 2nd quarter.
MCGee the rest of the game, maybe Carpenter the last few series.

You won't see the starters get a lot of PT until the 3rd pre-season game.

I imagine the 1st and 4th preseason games will have McGee getting the most reps.

I have not heard anything but I would expect Romo will get no more than a couple of series. I would think Kitna will get the remainder of the 1st half with McGee and Carpenter getting the 2nd half

I agree pre-season games are about the individual as coaches will call plays to see certain players in different situations. The 3rd pre-season game tends to be the closest thing to a real game as teams tend to use that as a tune up for the regular season game.
