Interesting that Marshall is actually endorsing Michael being a potentially significant contributor in Dallas as the season progresses.

My thought as well but with media trolls these days you can never tell if they're just fishing for clicks but given he was a RB and typically isn't too high on the Cowboys, it perked my ears up a bit.

I like the trade but I'm still a little dubious about how well he'll produce because I feel like Seattle isn't one of the stupid organizations that gives good players away, it will be interesting to see how this pans out.

I guess thats good to hear but Faulk's judgment doesn't really mean anything to me haha.

Oh and this is off topic but I was watching a segment on NFL Network that involved the crew of Faulk, Irvin, Warner, and Marriouchi... and each guy was supposed to pick one team that would make the playoffs that didn't last year. They had each team's helmet so whoever they picked they would put on the helmet of that team while they explained their pick.... And Irvin picked the damn Eagles and was sitting there with an Eagles helmet on his head!!! Michael freaking Irvin wearing an Eagles helmet.... The man who when he got injured in Philly, Eagles fans cheered. One of our all-time greats wearing the helmet of one of our all-time rivals. It genuinely hurt me to see that.

Funny to think that if the Boys wreak havoc this year, Faulk is going to have problems conceding/acknowledging, especially with Irvin and all his bravado - this could be some must see TV! lol

I always want to see a man rise above and speak his mind without prejudice from past transgressions.
But I truly do understand where you're coming from on this. I was devastated when that happened. Like many of you- I was watching that game live on television and I still remember that moment like certain national tragedies that I won't mention, but you know what I mean...

I'm cool with Mike stating what he thinks, no matter what happened.
It's almost like a spit in the face of the fans of Philly that cheered.
He doesn't give an ish about you. He keeps going on. Like a true Highwayman.

I'm not so sure about that. We just let go of OPOY. Who does that over a few million when the dude is still only 27? We also let a good TE go and others. It happens all the time.

& the O-line

I've been saying this since before they traded for Michaels: There are things in his game that need to be cleaned up, no question there, but as a pure runner that would fit this system like a glove, I honestly think this kid has the ability to actually improve on what Murray was able to do. I know that sounds crazy. But he has the ideal size and explosion to do just that. If he can only be trusted by the coaches to do all the little things...that's the big question right now.

Let it go man. The guy makes millions to do stuff like that. His mind is certainly not on the past when he is making those kinds of millions for that gimmicky stuff. Seriously?!?!

Because of the salary cap implications, the situation is not comparable to Murray, imo. I guess you're referring to Bennett who is a better potential comparison since he has turned out to be a productive player after leaving Dallas.

Seattle has to feel there is some issue with him given they let a rookie (undrafted?) take his job after letting go of their back up from the last few years and then traded him for a conditional 7th. That doesn't mean he won't do great things here but I think that should make it obvious that for whatever reason Seattle had an issue with him.

I'm certainly hoping thats irrelevant now that he's a Cowboy
