All positive! Except for Livings (-2.0)who was in negative territory.

Smith +1.8
Cook +3.1
Bern +2.0
Free +2.8
Parnell +1.1

Since he started playing more towards the end of the season, Parnell ended up at +0.5, which if he had enough snaps would have qualified him for 45th in the NFL. For comparison, Smith wound up being the 40th rated OT, and Doug Free the 66th.

I think I would set Free free and play Parnell in 2013. Address the interior o-line this off-season and then add a right tackle in 2014.

Interesting. Looks like Free is gone next season.

Hopefully we can use those savings on a quality OG in FA. Then we draft an OT around Round 2, and pick up more depth later in the Draft, and we should be better than in 2012.

What was Tyron last year before we moved him to LT?

Nice to see they all graded out so nicely. I must have been imagining the unblocked Commanders rampaging through the line of scrimmage every 3rd down.

I guess that happens when you tip a few before game time.

There was only 1 sack, 2 QB hits and 5 hurries for the entire game.

You mean, that's what PFF counted?

Yes.

And they assigned the sack to Tony Romo and 1 of the pressures to DeMarco Murray, not the OL.

Nate Livings - 1 hit, 2 hurries
Ryan Cook - 1 hit
Mackenzy Bernadeau - 1 hurry
Jermey Parnell - 1 hurry

Tyron Smith and Doug Free were clean.

So the OL was charged with 2 QB hits and 4 QB hurries.

I'm sure Romo's cracked rib feels better now.

Epic levels of pride and denial exhibited with the OL stat massagers here,,, here's a good one for you:

ranked 30th in yards per rush and 31st in total rushing yards,,, massage that.

I don't get these numbers or agree with them. All Romo's interceptions came on pressures. He was consistently getting pressure off the edges, and especially on 3rd downs. The corners off the edge were close a few times as well

5 hurries is a joke. There was a jailbreak practically every third down.

That likely was from the blitzes. OL can't block 6+ pass rushers

This line can't block three pass rushers. Six is out of the question.

So I guess on Witten's TD when it was snapped late and Romo had a century back there against 3 pass rushers....that doesn't count as blocking 3 pass rushers.

The OL didn't win the game cause they can't run block at all with Cook in there, but they didn't lose that game either. Ask Romo first, then the D for giving up 300 yards rushing about losing that game.

Lol agreed. I am impressed how Tyron Smith and Ryan Cook played at the end of the season though. I think Cook, Costa, Bernadeau and Kowalski should battle for starting C spot next season
