A Man in a Hat cast a strong silhouette
And Meredith drawled in awe of Dorsett.
Roger connected with Pearson at will
Then handed the rock to Thomas or Hill.

Bob Hayes sprinted faster than anyone yet.
Rayfield and Ralph gave rushmen regret.
Howley and Jordan and Edwards waylaid
Offenses stymied by Stautner's brigade.

Niland was nasty, and Nye was a Zero.
Renfro, Cornell and Harris were heroes.
Too Tall and Harvey and Manster made hay.
Walt the real cowboy's will found a way.

But in the beginning Doomsday was forged
From Lilly and Willie and Jethro and George.

(Ok, so my own personal addition)

The kids have been drafted, like Dak and a Zeke
The Oline protects them, they play like they're freaks
The old-statesman Witten, on his way to the Hall
Sharing touchdowns with Dez, the "X" shows to all

The defense is young, roster full of new rooks
But with Sandrick and Lee, they will manage new looks
A Jaylon, Awuzie, a Collins defending
Opposing offense in trouble, think they're worthy, pretending

Suspensions a plenty, job difficult for Red
He must get them playing before the season is dead
Captain Jack in a glass, Jerry toasting with grins
2017 is here, let get lots of wins!

On Park Avenue

I saw a commissioner, corrupt, arrogant,

Who, sitting in his office,

Held Zeke's fate in his hands,

And ate of it.

I said, “Is it right, friend?”

“It is wicked—wicked” he answered;

“But I like it

“Because I'm corrupted,

“And because it is his fate.”
