They might be wanting to clear any Henson inventory they have while there's still a chance they could sell it at regular price.
More then likely made up around thanksgiving time 2 years ago when most foolishly believed all it would take for Henson to take this team into the future was stepping on the field ONE time. That didn't pan out quite like most figured, he bombed, was demoted to third string just like that. Those jerseys probably then went to the far back corner of some warehouse just hoping and waiting for a time they could be pulled back out for some possible sales.. Henson to NFLe did the trick. Jerry won't lose quite everything on this investment, his trick of delusion seems to be working. Some poor sap fool even went to one of the the multiple Cowboy boards (just like I'm sure Jerry predicted some overzelous fans of the "boywonder" would do} and started a thread. I bet those jerseys magically disappear sometime here in the near future, and I'll even go as far as to say I bet some other overzelous fan will start another thread saying they must just be on reorder, lol.
If this was for real, people, those jersey would have a Rhien Fire option to them. Don't fool yourselves, Jerry would want to monopolize on the buzz he is creating over there even if it is a high school level buzz. As is though, he's just clearing inventory, more then likely to make room for his vet replacement. I mean come on Jerry is just working too hard trying to convince everyone that Henson is the QB of the future, almost as if the fanbase is as desperate to know who their starting quarerback is like 2 years ago when it was up in the air with the Dino-Vinny. He's creating this hype for two simple reasons....1. Raise DHs value for a trade....2. Clean out inventory. A simple smokescreen like Jerry is very famous for, especially around this time of the offseason.
Basically, if Drew Henson is "GOD", Jerry will get more for him. So much tongue-service isn't needed for a player who is out there "walking the walk". Think about it people.
Drew Henson who?
