Because he is a competition junkie and could be in line for the HC gig if he gets his foot in the door and puts in a little time. Romo could be what Jerry thought Garrett was. I admit it's not likely but Romo is the most likely of all the big name highly paid players to decide to pursue coaching. There's a reason he loved to play golf and played rec soccer and basketball in the offseason. He may eventually miss the competition and the lockeroom.

I responded to the *** monkey too. First off, Romo probably isn't ever getting into the Hall of Fame, so it isn't like Dallas fans are really pushing for that to happen, but as Mosher put it, the stats are overwhelmingly in Romo's favor, including the more important completion precentage, yds per attempt and rating.
