Also, dirty take-out of 1 tech Ash allows center to block Jaylon Smith, who unshockingly is unable to shake off. Jaylon bull rushes into him - why not try to swerve around this 300 lber?

Not bad backside pursuit by Taco, LB's not named Lee dancing backward with blockers, close to a high low block on Ash.

He fits in real well with the rest of the pathological optimists at the Star.

No introspection. He's good enough, he's smart enough and gosh darn it people like him.

Also, noting the awfulness of Smith, Hitchens shows his limitations there as well. If he diagnoses the play quickly and correctly, there's a hole for him to explode through before the OG gets him. But he keeps moving laterally and lets the OG peel off the double team and then hit him.

The Cowboys basically overhauled a huge chunk of the secondary this past offseason. They have to do it at LB this offseason.

And the only team in the NFL that would have him out on the field are the Dallas Cowboys.
This is correct, we can't blame the player, he's doing what he can. Blame the coaches that have put him in bad situations. He can't read and react yet, he's reacting then reading, but he can stunt and blitz. He needs to be a situational player until he gets better. I like him and hope he turns into a great player, in the meantime the staff needs to be MUCH smarter with his schemes.
