CowboysZone Mock Draft

NY Giants is on the clock at #15

Vote how you think the team WILL draft (not how they should draft)

I'll provide at least 8 choices for each team (sorry if I don't include your favorite and you're welcome to email me suggestions prior to a team's choice)

I'll leave the option out there for at least 4 hours unless it is so unanimous that I can go on to the next team. When we move on, I'll make a post saying the counting for that draft slot has ended and what the verdict is

Results so far

1. St. Louis, SAM BRADFORD, QB, Oklahoma
2. Detroit, NDAMUKONG SUH, DT, Nebraska
3. Tampa Bay, GERALD McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
4. Washington, RUSSELL OKUNG, OT, OK. St.
5. Kansas City, BRYAN BULAGA, OT, Iowa
6. Seattle, ERIC BERRY, S, Tennessee
7. Cleveland, JIMMY CLAUSEN, QB, ND
8. Oakland, TRENT WILLIAMS, OT, Oklahoma
9. Buffalo, DEZ BRYANT, WR, Oklahoma St
10. Jacksonville, DERRICK MORGAN, DE, Ga Tech
11. Denver, ROLANDO McCLAIN, ILB, Alabama
12. Miami, DAN WILLIAMS, DT, Tennessee
13. San Francisco, JOE HADEN, CB, Florida
14. Seattle, CJ SPILLER, RB, Clemson
15. NY Giants, ????????

They addressed some of their depth concerns at Safety and have a bunch of various needs, but I'll go with

Earl Thomas, S, Texas

They need a linebacker to replace Pierce and Sean Weatherspoon is a good one.

Arch Stanton

They reject the Eagles trade offer and select Weatherspoon.

Spoon's better on the outside than at the mike, so I'll go with Maurkice Pouncey to address their line.

Are you banking on Phillips never playing again?

You're probably right. However, Spoon seems like a late 1st rounder to me, but maybe they reach for him...or trade down if they can't go up and get McClain.
With the FA aquisitions they may be okay at saftey, though I still see plenty of Giants sights that say they want Thomas if he's still there.

They REALLY need a NT.

If Thomas were to fall into the 20s, you have to think we make a move.

Spoon has a nice lead so far. I'd like seeing the draft fall this way.

The thread will be open for ahwile still.....

Giants have no need for a safety. They signed Antrel Rolle and Deon Grant during the offseason so they will not spend a first pick on a safety. Their biggest need is an ILB.
